Sea Rescue took delivery of 4 brand new Mitsubishi Tritons this week. The Mitsubishi Triton 2,5l Turbo Diesel 4×4 is our standard Sea Rescue vehicle used at our rescue bases around the country. These vehicles are used to tow our rescue boats, transport our volunteer rescue crews and often used as a mobile communications centre.Mitsubishi remains a key sponsor of NSRI supporting both our operational and fundraising initiatives at a fraction of the vehicle’s actual cost. You too have the opportunity to win one of two Mitsubishi vehicles: A Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0L (Classic) worth almost a million rand when participating in the NSRI Car Competition. By supporting us with your donation you are assisting in funding our Rescue bases with these powerful rescue vehicles. These rescue vehicles powered by Mitsubishi will soon be delivered to Knysna, Durban, Yzerfontein and Melkbosstrand. We are very grateful for the 15 year sponsor relationship with Mitsubishi and to our generous donors that make purchasing these vehicles possible. A special thank you to the National Lotteries Commission who sponsored the Yzerfontein rescue vehicle.Thank you.
