In September, we were kindly donated a beautifully covered Christmas cake made by Jenny Thompson of the Fish Hoek branch of Cape Guild of Cake Decorators. Jenny has won many awards for her fruit cakes so we were thrilled when Sea Rescue was selected as one of the chosen charities. The cake was raffled over some time with our Life Boat Club members and the lucky ticket was drawn at the year end function in Clovelly on the 02 November. The money that was raised was a total of R2 550 and will be allocated to our NSRI Simon's Town rescue base.img-20161103-wa0006-349x620 Audrey Hugo, delighted winner of the Christmas Cake donated by the Fish Hoek Branch of SACDGCongratulations to Audrey and thank you to everyone who entered and supported Sea Rescue.
