Kim hosted a base tour and coffee morning for our retired members and supporters of Life Boat Club on the 19 October at NSRI Station 23 Wilderness. The newly appointed Station Commander, Robert van Helsdingen gave an interesting talk filled with wonderful accounts of rescues. He showed everyone around the base and a lovely coffee morning was held at Salina's restaurant next to the base afterwards.Below are a few highlights of the events:

Enjoying coffee at Salina's.Kim then made her way up on the 20 October to meet retired crew and supporters of Life Boat Club in Port Elizabeth. The members were given an informal tour of the newly renovated NSRI Station 6 Port Elizabeth rescue base by deputy Station Commander, Justin Erasmus. Brian Hustler (Honorary Life Governor) gave an interesting talk about maritime. Afterwards, they were treated to a lunch at The Chartroom restaurant.
