Station 34’s first formal awards evening was held at Club Mykonos last night. During this special event several Certificates were handed to members. A Shore Crew certificate was handed to Elizca Hubbard, and a crew certificate was handed to Gerhard Visagie. It was also the station commander’s pleasure to hand out 2 Coxswain certificates. A class III certificate was handed to Kobus Barnard, and a Class II was handed to Rudi Rogers. This evening was a special event on Station 34’s calendar and we hope that it will mark the first of many such special events. The commitment of each of the members were commended by both the station commander Darius Van Niekerk, and the Deputy Station Commander Rudi Rogers. Without these volunteers station 34 would not be where they are today.
