Last night STN 4 held their first Mid Year Awards evening, during which several certificates as well as 3 Long service awards were handed out.Crew Certificates where handed to Arno Smit, Ross Cameron and Siggi Weiss. On this special occasion they also handed out long service awards.Five year service awards went to Johann Booyens and Karen Engelbrecht and for the first time at Station 4 a 15 year Service award was awarded to Martin Slabber who is a committee member and has been at the station since 1994. All these awards and certificates where handed out by the Station Commander Darius van Niekerk, and Deputy Station Commander Casper Frylinck. It was a lovely evening with members, families and NSRI friends celebrating this special occasion together.
