We have been brand partners with DHL for the past 5 years and we have a few things in common. Red and yellow. Connecting people. Getting things done quickly. Taking care with precious cargo. Making the world a better place.DHL have been incredibly generous and, more importantly, they make a point of being personally involved in our partnership. We know them by name.Their annual sponsorship includes all our courier requirements - moving essential life saving equipment around the country to ensure that our rescue crew have what they need, when they need it. They also sponsor the costs of shipping specialist equipment such as helmets and harnesses from other continents. For the past 3 years they have sponsored the cost of our Integrated Annual Report. This is a key document we use when seeking funding from companies, government departments, trusts and foundations - and their support of this specific project unlocks many doors for us.DHL partner with our fundraising cycle team and sponsor our cycle jerseys. They sponsored a really nice wind- and water-proof jacket for each of our Station Commanders at our conference this year. They gave each one of our volunteers an awesome cool bag for Christmas. This year DHL are the title sponsor of our Cape Town golf day. The list goes on....When they heard that we had been donated all the electronic equipment for our first Search and Rescue ORC being built in France, they offered to ship it over at no charge so that it could be installed on site.Thank you DHL for being so kind, so caring and for showing so much support to the men and women who volunteer. We are very proud to name this rescue boat 'Spirit of DHL'. May God bless her and all who serve on her. We have no doubt that she will save many lives.
