GORDONS BAY:

At 06h10, Sunday, 20th November, NSRI Gordons Bay duty crew were activated to assist at Harbour Island, Gordons Bay, where the 40 foot motor boat Celine was sinking at her moorings.No one was reported to be onboard and the owner had been summoned to the scene after fellow boaters had noticed his boat sinking.On arrival on the scene, with no lives in any danger, the owner and the insurers arranged a salvage company to assist with a salvage operation to recover the boat which has sunk inside Harbour Island at her mooring.The cause of the boat sinking will be investigated.
