It was a fantastic turn out at the 21st Annual Rotary Wine Auction in aid of NSRI last night. 172 guests gathered at the beautiful Table Bay Hotel to support this years’ project; a new rescue vehicle for the Simon’s Town NSRI base. With table wines sponsored by Peter Bacon and supplied by Usana Wines, guests bid merrily on an assortment of fine wines as well several non-wine lots. R19 000 for a catered cruise for 12 on Princess Emma, R14 000 for a two night stay in the Presidential Suite of the Table Bay Hotel, R7 750 for a 9 Litre Klein Constantia wine, R7 000 for a training session with the Simon’s Town NSRI crew for 2 people. The auction brought in a grand total of R360 950.Thank you so much to the organising committees from the Rotary Clubs of Newlands and Table Bay, the Wine Cellar, our sponsors Mitsubishi Motors SA and Spar Tops, and of course our generous guests.
