This past weekend saw our volunteer crew participating in their Regional Capsize Training at Simon's Town. Crew got first hand experience on what it was like to be under an upturned boat and were taught what to do should they be in the situation out at Sea. They got to practice huddling together to stay warm and also had the opportunity to flip the boat themselves. This practical hands-on training complements all the theory and is a great team building exercise.vlcsnap-2016-06-27-11h41m46s494 Crew practice the huddle positionvlcsnap-2016-06-27-11h56m20s267 Manually flipping the boatvlcsnap-2016-06-27-11h50m18s895 Inside the air pocket of the upturned hullvlcsnap-2016-06-27-11h51m30s656
