When the Bakoven NSRI crew went to the rescue of Shane Keenan who was dragged out to sea in Camps Bay with one leg entangled in his kite lines owner of Kaskazi Kayaks, Tracy Fincham, happened to be there and watched the operation. ' I could not believe that they did it,' said Tracy. It was a tricky rescue in terrible conditions and the Bakoven duty crew executed a text book style rescue. Tracy was so impressed with the crew that she made a cheese cake for them. ' It was an amazing rescue.
