During December of every year, the residents and visitors of Jeffreys Bay are treated to a spectacular Christmas Light display in Wavecrest. The owners of no 13 & 15 Anaboom Street decorate their houses and gardens with a huge variety of Christmas lights and last year even included a snow machine. Children and Parents were able to spend countless hours on the lawn enjoying this beautiful display and they have the opportunity to make a donation.During December 2014 over R15’000-00 was collected this way and the owners donated all of the proceeds to two charities of their choice. R1 500-00 was donated to Seventh Heaven in Jeffreys Bay, with R13 571-85 donated to NSRI Station 37 to assist with the costs associated with replacing the Station’s now ageing 4,2 meter inflatable rescue craft. All the costs relating to the installation and maintenance of the Christmas light were carried by the owners and they are saluted for their efforts in supporting these two charities. The Owners already indicated that the lights will be back in December 2015.Christmas Lights Donation to NSRI Station 37, captured by AD.
