The 19th Cape Rotary Wine Auction, hosted by Rotary Clubs of Newlands and Table Bay, took place last night, Thursday 2nd October, in the Ballroom at the Table Bay Hotel. Wines from over 80 of the Cape’s finest estates went under the hammer of Andrew Koch, MD of Claremart, raising a record R344,000 for Sea Rescue.The funds from this event will go towards Station 34 Yzerfontein's new boathouse ... after operating from shipping containers they will finally have a home for their crew and rescue equipment. Thank you to our fantastic guests who really had fun and spent generously to support Sea Rescue. Most importantly, thanks to the Rotarians of the Rotary Clubs of Table Bay and Newlands who put their heart and soul into this event.A parallel Joburg Rotary Wine Auction will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Knights Pendragon on the 22nd
