NSRI's 46th AGM:

NSRI’s 46th AGM was held at 18h00 on 19 August 2013 at the BoE building in the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. The awards were presented by NSRI chairman Peter Bacon.It was CEO Ian Wienburg's 20th year at the helm of Sea Rescue. On 1 September 2013 Ian retires and hands the reigns to Dr Cleeve Robertson. Peter Bacon presents Thandi Mlangeni and Coen Birkenstock of TNPA with the Alric Simpson trophy. Anette Poole from Richard's Bay receives a Letter of appreciation. As an unpaid volunteer she has collected R1.9m from shipping agents. Gerry Staverees receives his Letter of Appreciation. John Brown receives his Letter of Appreciation. Henk Henn of Hermanus receives his Letter of Appreciation. Phil Ress receives his Letter of Appreciation. Allan Cramb : 45 years service. Rudi Fisch: 35 years service. Mark Hughes 35 years service.
