Last night ( Friday 31 May) in Durban, the South African Search and Rescue (SASAR) Executive Committee presented Witsand NSRI volunteers, Coxswain Attie Gunter, Crewman Leon Pretorius and Quentin Diener with a Meritorious Award for the rescue of the crew on the yacht Gulliver. Dr. Cleeve Robertson and Mr. Rob Stirrat ( who was not able to attend) were also presented with awards thanking them for their voluntary service to NSRI.Leon, Attie and Quentin after the ceremony.
