The Sea Rescue duty crew at Table Bay were called out at 14h45 on Sunday 24th March to assist the skipper and his crew on the yacht ‘Black Cat.’ The skipper called for help after he fell, struck his head and injured his wrist, making sailing the yacht difficult.A Sea Rescue medic was transferred to the yacht off Table View and the skipper stabilized before the yacht was towed into the harbour by the ‘Spirit of Vodacom’. The Skipper, a Hout Bay man, was transported to hospital by ER24 at 17h15.It was later confirmed that his wrist was broken.The Spirit of Vodacom comes alongside Black cat.
