A group of Iranian Port Captains, on a tour of local emergency services, hosted by private company Western Cape Emergency Services, visited the Sea Rescue base at the V&A Waterfront today.They were introduced to how the NSRI operated on donations, sponsorships and bequests with volunteer crews and were fascinated by the fact that none of the sea going volunteers are paid.
