The NSRI/Titan High Line Team were activated on Tuesday 28 June to assist with the Medivac of a crewman from the Ore Carrier M/V Pole 35 nm west of Cape Town. The ship was bound for China and had sailed from Brazil.The patient was suspected to have had a stroke was in a stable condition.NSRI/Titan Hi Line crewman Andre Beuster and Metro Paramedic Shahied Osman crewed the Titan Bell 212 and carried out the successful medivac.The heli took off at 15h15 and landed again at 16h05. The patient was transferred to an awaiting ambulance and transported to Christian Barnard Hospital.
