For those taking part in the Argus Cycle Tour on Sunday - good luck! You will notice a strong Sea Rescue presence during the run-up to and during the actual tour itself. Our Face to Face fundraisers have been donated a stand at the Cycle Tour Expo in the Good Hope Centre and are really pleased with the support that they are getting from the riders. As usual Hout Bay station commander Brad Geyser will be running the VOC (Venue Operations Centre) from METROs control room at Tygerberg hospital. He will be working with a host of organisations including police, traffic, EMS, course control, Environmental agencies, SAN Parks, Fire and Rescue and Disaster management. And then ... out on the course, NSRI Kommetjie will have a medical point at the Ocean View SAPS station and Hout Bay NSRI will have a team of medics on Chapmans Peak.
