Paul Bevis, NSRI Durban duty coxswain, said:At 10h24, Wednesday, 05 February, NSRI Durban duty crew launched the sea rescue craft Spirit of Surfski 6 following a request for assistance from 2 local crewmen on a 28 foot Buttcat craft reporting motor mechanical failure 7.8 nautical miles off-shore of Durban's Port.We rendezvoused with the casualty boat finding her crew safe and we took the casualty boat under tow and we towed them without incident to the commercial moorings in the Port of Durban and no further assistance was required.
