Hermanus volunteer crew Jonathan Fourie and trainee Nikita Werthmann (Both advances paramedics at station 17 Hermanus) went to visit Generations school today for an event the school has each term called an ‘inning’ (the opposite of an outing!). The school asked Station 17 crew to have a fun talk with the kiddies aged 6-9 about Sea Rescue. The talk included a rundown of the equipment used by our volunteers, an awesome slide show of sea rescue vehicles and how we train. The children had the time of their lives.
