Our new 14m SAR ORCs start the long journey home, next month. They depart from La Harve, France on 4th February, travelling via Singapore to arrive in Durban on 25 March. In Durban the completed “Alick Rennie” will be offloaded to serve at Station 5 Durban. The partially completed “Donna Nicholas” continues on to Cape Town and arrives as hull, deck and bulkheads to be completed locally in South Africa and she will serve at Station 10 Simon's Town.Thank you very much Safmarine for, once again, very generously sponsoring the cost of shipping, for accommodating our vessels on Maersk Hanoi and Maersk Tukang and for coordinating all the complex logistics.
