Jive Cape Town Funny Festival at the Baxter TheatreThe comedy festival that has Capetonians keeled over, for four weeks, returnsBack in the Mother City for a four-week run, the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival brings incredibly talented local and international comedians together for a side-splitting show at the Baxter Theatre.Since its inception 20 years ago, the stand-up fiesta has run at full capacity, and this year the comedic affair hopes to captivate thousands of Capetonian comedy lovers over the course of its multiple performances (there’s essentially a performance daily during the run). Captain Frodo (NOR)Known around the world as ‘The Incredible Rubberman’, this mind-boggling contortionist can squeeze his body into just about anything
Mario: Queen of the Circus (USA)This phenomenal showman plays tribute to pop legend Freddie Mercury while performing circus acts such as juggling and unicycle tricks.
The shows start at 8pm run for two hours and include a 20 minute interval, and parental guidance for children under the age of 18 is advised.
