At 06h00, Sunday, 18th January, NSRI Port Alfred duty crew were activated following reports of 3 men thrown off a boat while the boat, SEA BREEZE, exited the Kowie River Mouth to go to sea and was nearly capsized by a wave and her motors stalled.2 charter passengers and the skipper were thrown out of the boat but all 3, males, wearing life-jackets, managed to get safely to shore and were not injured.The fourth person on the boat, a crewman, managed to row the boat out of danger and onto Eastern Beach where NSRI assisted them to recover the boat.No one was injured, the boat has been recovered onto their boat trailer, and no further assistance was required.11TO REPORT A SEA RESCUE EMERGENCY DIAL 112 FROM A CELLPHONESMS 32287 with your name and a message of support for our Sea Rescue crew
