On Saturday 6 December Minister Anton Bredell handed a cheque for R375 000 to NSRI CEO Dr Cleeve Robertson. The Western Cape Government presented NSRI and Lifesaving SA each with a cheque at the Gordons Bay Yacht Club before enjoying a demonstration showing the rescue readiness of the two organisations for the pending Christmas holidays.
