We hosted another fabulous Cape Town golf day at Atlantic Beach Golf Estate last Friday, 14 November 2014. It was a beautiful morning and we had a shotgun start at 12h00. The weather over Table Mountain was dark and raining but it was a perfect day out in Melkbosstrand, until about an hour before the end of the golf when the wind direction changed and the heavens opened. But the golfers were in good spirits after a hot shower and enjoyed the prize giving function and delicious meal. The winners of the golf were the 4-ball from Silver Bay Spur with 2nd place going to DEL Group and 3rd to The Property Café.Special thanks to our Title Sponsors for the day, Cummins; to Simola Golf and Country Estate who sponsored the first prize for the golf and Cellucity Waterfront who sponsored the second prize for the golf.We raised just over R60 000 for Sea Rescue which would not have been possible without the support of the players and all the sponsors: Absa, Adidas, Airports Company South Africa, Allan Usher, Atlantic Beach Golf Club, Cape Sidecar Adventures, Cattle Baron, CCS Logistics, CTFM Steenberg, DEL Group, Discovery, Imperial Mitsubishi, Investec, iSmart, Jeep Apparel, Lite Optec, MACS Shipping, Marpro, Mediclinic, Nedbank Private Wealth, Nedbank@Work, NoMu, Protea Hotels, Robert Bosch, Safmarine/Maersk, Silver Bay Spur, Svitzer Salvage Africa, TaylorMade, The Property Café, The Publishing Partnership, The Westin Cape Town, Titan Marketing, Voltex & ZF Services.2014-11-14 14.33.25Sponsors of the 1st hole, Imperial Mitsubishi with the 4-ball from Marpro and NSRI CEO, Cleeve Robertson ( second right).
