Margaret McCulloch has been in Port Elizabeth visiting our retired crew and supporters as part of the Life boat Circle. Since our base is currently being renovated, she hosted the happy group for lunch next door at PEDSAC (PE Deep Sea Angling Club) 'Guests were bowled over by the dedication and true life saving spirit that shone through our crew. There was a wonderful spirit of camaraderie amongst our guests, some of whom were long acknowledged bequestors, and many more who have promised to complete the codicil forms they requested. Our supporters understand that to leave a gift in their will, in preference to sacrificing much needed retirement capital now, is the simplest way of continuing their support of this service they all so admire.Good rescue reports, good food and good company were the order of the day, and they await the next get together with great anticipation. It was lovely to have Dorian Robertson's (NSRI Richards Bay) mom Di and Cheryl Smith's (NSRI PE) mom Caryll with us. Ken Clegg (NSRI JBay) brought 3 of his Life boat Circle members with him. Honorary Life Governor, Brian Hustler, handed over the certificates and badges.'We're currently
looking for a Bequest Officer to run Life boat Circle in the area. If you love spending time with people, are a good public speaker and are a natural story teller - we'd love to hear from you.

NSRI PE Coxswain and WaterWise Instructor, Marcus Oshry, and Operations Board Member, Justin Erasmus, joined us for the day to share rescue stories
