I was invited to visit Stepping Stones Primary in Knysna, where a year ago a little girl from their school drowned at Leisure Isle. Lots of questions were asked, and stories told! Hoekwil Primary invited me back, I had been to their school a year ago. Although some of the children could remember the message, it also brought home how important it is to go back to schools we have already visited. Rip Currents! This is always the moment during the presentation when I have every ones full attention. Bringing out “Little Junior” always put a smile on my face, as there’s a lot of shrieks and laughter when they meet him for the first time! And the children always love learning Hands On CPR.
