Last night, Monday the 2nd of June, NSRI, along with the SA Navy, Smit Madura, the Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre and Telkom's Cape Town Radio where thanked for their assistance in helping the yachts who got into difficulty during the 2014 Cape 2 Rio yacht race. The Vice Commodore of Royal Cape Yacht Club, Ray Matthews, presented NSRI CEO Cleeve Robertson a framed chart signed by all the competitors of the race.
