It was with joy, that at two of my schools this month a few pupils have heard me speak at their previous schools, last year. They could remember most of what I had taught them, but it also made me realise how important it is that we re-visit the schools to reinforce our message. At Kranshoek Primary, a girl came up to me to say hello, and that she has heard my message before, I then got her to teach the learners the emergency number 10177, and the kids loved it!Today, I visited a High School in Knysna. The children were in shock hearing that dams, and even their favourite swimming spot, Leisure Isle, could have deep holes which they could step into and drown!Teachers came to me saying they did not know what a rip current was or how dangerous rips can be, and that they have learned a lot from my presentation.WaterWise Eden's Liza Wigley is proudly sponsored by the Department of Agriculture.
