Today, 4th of January, saw the start of the 2014 Cape2Rio yacht race. The morning started out with a thick fog bank hanging over Table Bay but soon cleared once the sun came out. It was a glorious day in Cape Town with many local yachts and motor boats coming out to see the fleet off. Even a pod of dusky dolphins made the effort. NSRI Bakoven's Rotarian Schipper and Table Bay's two boats, Spirit of Vodacom and Rotary Endeavour where on the water to show their support. We wish all the entrants a safe journey and fair winds.News updates can be found on http://www.cape2rio2014.com/ Cape2Rio - 01 Photo: Karin Wahl/NSRICape2Rio - 02 Photo: Karin Wahl/NSRICape2Rio - 04Cape2Rio - 05
