The Event Management students from the local campus of the International Hospitality University hosts an 'Anything that floats' event in aid of NSRI Station 11 Port Alfred each year.This year our Station Commander, Juan Pretorius, hosted 13 youngsters from the Nemato township.He spoke to them about the history of Sea Rescue and our proud tradition of volunteering, then they had a tour of the boathouse. The students were really impressed with our rescue boat Lotto Challenger and were fascinated by the technology.After answering all their questions about shark attacks Juan then spoke to them about the rip currents and the safe swimming areas in Port Alfred.port alfred
