File image File imageAt 08h35 NSRI Mykonos responded to assist a 5m cabin boat in difficulty in the Shark Bay area, on the southern side of the Langebaan Yacht Club, Langebaan Lagoon.It appears that the cabin boat, with 5 adult males from Cape Town on board, drifted onto a sand bank in a 32 knot southerly wind before experiencing engine trouble.We launched Gemini Rescuer II and towed them safely to Paaltjies Sand slipway, near the main beach.
