NSRI EMERGENCY
OPERATION CENTRE (EOC)

The Richards Bay's crew did some extensive maintenance on Spirit of Richards Bay's dolly this weekend. Even though it gets washed every time after use, sea water eventually cause some rust to set in. The volunteers removed all the dolly's planks; grinded and brushed all surface rust off; stripped the wheels and then painted and put all parts back. All Sea Rescue gear is kept in tip top condition. In an emergency there is no room for error or equipment failure.Pictures by Brynn Gericke.DSC_0213DSC_0192DSC_0210
