Here is a really unusual release from NSRI media man Craig Lambinon:There will be a life sized and very real looking whale model delivered to the Noordhoek Beach car park today (Monday 04th February). It will be used in a film shoot tomorrow on the beach and removed from the car park either tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.The whale model is life size and looks real ... so please expect calls from the public saying that they think a whale has beached in Noordhoek.On Wednesday the 06th of February there will be a life sized and very real looking Polar Bear model at Strandfontein Tidal Pool for use in the same commercial!In both cases location permits and usage permits have been granted by the City of Cape Town film office and Environmental Conservation Officers will be present to ensure permits are adhered to.
