Two of the crew assisted Jules Roy (the Zodiac Boat race organizer) with final preparations for the zodiac race scheduled for Tuesday. The other 5 were tasked with assisting the PJ's with water rescue and recovering the teams that had parachuted out of a C-130 and landed in the water. 6 Groups of PJ's had to test their precision jumping skills by trying to land inside a 24 man life raft. The team who had all 3 members inside the life raft in the quickest time won the days event. NSRI's job was to assist with recovering the Pararescue jumpers and return them safely to shore. We were provided with 2 inflatable boats and 2 jet-skis. The jet ski's were tasked to keep the drop-zone area safe and warn other vessels to keep a safe distance from the area we were working in.
