The usual Tuesday crew meeting at Station 5, Durban, this week was a meeting with a difference as long services awards were presented to a number of the volunteers.Regional Director Eddie Noyons attended the meeting and handed each recipient their certificate for either 5, 10 or 15 years of dedicated service to the station and Sea Rescue as an organisation.A special presentation of 'Directors Letter of Appreciation' was awarded to Brian St Clair-Laing for his dedication beyond the call of duty during the re-fitment and delivery of various NSRI Class 1 rescue craft over a number of years.
