This week Station 19 Richards Bay held their annual 200m timed swim and liferaft/survival training at the municipal pool in Richards Bay.After the crew had completed their timed swim, it was on to donning lifejackets correctly, entering the water from a height correctly, survival techniques in and out of the raft and what to do in certain situations. The evening ended with a hotdog and cooldrink for all crew before returning back to base to stow all the equipment used for the training.
