The QM2 enters the Port of Cape Town. Picture Ian Wienburg.UPDATE:The Queen Mary 2 will get to Durban on Sunday 29 - the planned NSRI function at the Durban base will be at the same times but on Sunday. The Queen Mary 2, affectionately known as QM2 and the flagship of the Cunard fleet of luxury ocean liners, sailed into Cape Town Harbour early this morning. She is the largest passenger liner ever built. The QM2’s next stop is Durban on the 28th of January where Sea Rescue supporters will be able to watch her enter and depart the Port from the Sea Rescue staion for a donation of R200.
