False Bay – 08 May, 2011: 2 drown:At 19h00 NSRI Strandfontein were alerted by police of a suspected drowning incident at Wolfgat Nature Reserve on the False Bay Coast.The body of a woman had been discovered in shallow surf at Wolfgat and a man was reported to still be missing in the surf.The body of the woman was recovered from shallow surf by Police Divers.Police Divers and Metro EMS rescue personnel had started a search for the missing man.NSRI Strandfontein dispatched a sea rescue vehicle and were preparing to launch a sea rescue craft when it was confirmed that police divers and Metro EMS rescue personnel had discovered the body of the missing man.It is suspected that both people drowned and police have opened an inquest docket and are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and the identities of the victims.
