A new class of rescue boat, the Jack Riley, now the biggest boat in the Sea Rescue fleet, has arrived safely at her home in Gordons Bay harbour. All the careful planning payed off as the 10 kilometer journey from Bongers Marine to the harbour went off without a hitch. The traffic department did a great job and Eskom was relieved as the big boat passed under their cables as planned. Minutes after being lowered into the water she was being fueled as the crew got their first real look at her.
