NSRI hosted the second National Water Safety Symposium on the 2nd of March 2021 from 13h00 to 14h15 with experts in the field of Water Safety.The programme was:
  1. Lifesaving South Africa’s programmes in Southern Africa including WaterSmart - Mziwoxolo Mayedwa, Lifesaving South Africa
  2. Teaching South African children to swim - Eileen Xhakaza, Swimming South Africa
  3. Challenging surf rescue vessels, the JetRIB - Graeme Harding, NSRI
  4. Waves for Change - Surf therapy for children - Jamie-Lee Davids and Jose Peffer
