HOUT BAY:Bruce Bodmer, NSRI Hout Bay duty coxswain, said:At 13h50, Tuesday, 21 July, NSRI Hout Bay medical crew responded to Hout Bay harbour following reports of a man reportedly run over by a boat trailer and bystander CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) efforts in progress.Life Healthcare response paramedics, Hout Bay Volunteer EMS, SA Police Services and City of Cape Town (CoCT) Fire and Rescue Services were also responding to the scene.On arrival on the scene a local adult male was found to have succumbed to his injuries and sadly he was declared deceased.The body of the man was taken into the care of Police and WC Government Health Forensic Pathology Services.Police have opened an inquest docket.Condolences are conveyed to family and friends of the man.
