ST LUCIA:Jan Hofman, NSRI St Lucia station commander, said:At 06h30, Saturday, 22nd December, NSRI Station 40 St Lucia duty crew were activated following reports of a boat capsized in the surf at St Lucia.NSRI rescue swimmers responded directly to the scene.On NSRI's arrival on the scene the casualty crew, 3 males, were found safe ashore and not injured, they had been assisted by local fishermen who are commended for their assistance that they rendered on the scene.The casualty boat was damaged in the capsizing and the boat has been recovered.The boat had capsized departing to go to sea in a surf launch,No further assistance was required.
