Strandfontein Sea Rescue volunteers have been visiting schools in their area, as well as inviting learners to their rescue base, to make sure that they are well prepared for the upcoming summer and to understand beach safety. Lourier primary school were invited to NSRI Station 16 Strandfontein to get an introduction to Sea Rescue and a practical session in identification of the rip currents as well as a recap of general water safety.
