Station 3 Table Bay crewmembers, Ian Watson (Deputy Station Commander) and Nadia Niemann with Joshua and DanielIn our latest magazine we included a colourful fold out brochure sharing our new SAR ORC vessels. We received an email almost immediately from Joshua and Daniel together with a very generous donation towards the project. They wrote: “My name is Joshua Klue (9 years old). I read about your project to get a fleet of rescue boats (ORC) and wanted to donate towards it. Good luck! Regards Joshua.”We then received a donation and this email from Joshua’s brother, Daniel “Hi, My name is Daniel Klue (7 years old). My older brother, Joshua, told me all about your very cool project. I also wanted to help you raise some money. Cheers Daniel.”Joshua, Daniel and their parents came down to our rescue base in the V&A Waterfront this weekend to see our current Rodman boat and to meet the crew. The ORC project is our largest capital project to date and we need everyone’s help to make it a reality.
