It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Don Nichol.In the words of Peter Pullen 'He was a modest gentleman but more so he was the epitome of what a volunteer of NSRI should be . He was a devoted and brilliant contributor to the development of this great organisation.Those of his founder colleagues will all agree that he contributed so greatly to the success of the original Bakoven station and the establishment of this highly respected rescue organisation. Don Nichol you were a true legend who contributed so much to the NSRI. We will never forget you. Thank you. Rest in peace. From your fellow founder members.'
