For the last 12 years, Island View Shipping have been hosting an annual golf day in aid of Sea Rescue. Their idea is to gather their business colleagues and associates for a game of golf and then, once they have tallied up the proceeds, Roelof Camminga will call to tell us that they are doubling the income - matching rand for rand.A project of this magnitude funds the annual fuel and training expenses for Station 19 Richard's Bay and this is an impressive log:2006 – R35 0002007 – R60 0002008 – R60 0002009 – R70 0002010 – R72 0002011 – R64 4202012 – R62 0002013 – R92 5682014 – R140 4082015 – R210 0002016 – R160 019.362017 – R244 332Total = R1 270 747.36Thank you IVS for your loyalty and for an ongoing commitment to better the income, year on year. Without people like you, we could not do what we do. Thank you.
