Morne Dettmer, NSRI Mykonos deputy station commander, said:At 05h30, Sunday, 29th October, NSRI Mykonos duty crew were activated following a request for assistance from 4 fishermen, all adult males, reporting battery failure on their boat on the Langebaan Lagoon, 1.5 nautical miles off-shore.Our sea rescue craft Gemini Rescuer II launched and on arrival on the scene we assisted the men to power up their boats batteries and with their batteries and motors up and running no further assistance was required.TO REPORT A SEA RESCUE EMERGENCY DIAL 112 FROM A CELLPHONE
