Theo Erasmus, NSRI Witsand Port Beaufort station commander, said: On Monday, 17 July, at 13h00, NSRI Witsand Port Beaufort medical crew were activated following reports of a 54 year old male that collapsed on a building site in Breedezicht Estate, Witsand.On NSRI's arrival on the scene the local man was found to be unresponsive.Our NSRI medics commenced emergency medical treatment and WC Government Health EMS was activated.On the arrival of an EMS ambulance the patient was taken into the care of EMS paramedics, assisted by our NSRI medics, and once stabilised the patient was transported to hospital by EMS ambulance for further treatment in a stable condition.
