National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) in conjunction with Lifesaving South Africa (LSA) are joining hands to form the Melkbosstrand Surf Lifesaving Club (MLC).The club will make provision for Rescue Crew to train as Lifeguards or Lifeguards to train as Rescue Crew if they want to.'This is a first for South Africa. With determined volunteers and strong backing from our parent organisations, we are sure that this initiative will pave the way for others to do the same,' said Station Commander and Regional Representative, Rhine Barnes.
